Sól is the goddess of sun in Norse mythology.
As the sun, she is the feminine energy that brings light, warmth and life. Every morning she rises from the darkness and symbolizes the victory between light and darkness, order and chaos.
 
In many cultures the sun represents the masculin energy. Here in the north the sun is feminine and the source to life and renewal. She is power and vulnerability at once.
